Well, Happy Birthday again, Bryan!

Uh, actually it's a concept for an ink drawing. I really wanted to do it in time, but didn't manage to...really wanted to have a better gift for you ;_;
I want to do it one day, when school dies or something...
Write a journal about your birthday sooner, next time! *shakes fist*

Because I'm going to do this in the future I'm setting the "Advanced critique encouraged" option on. Let me know what would you add/ get rid of or do differently, if you have the time of course. I'd really appreciate it :3

Gloomy birthday pic. Like death says "I'm countin' too, ya know." O_o

Ok, here goes:
I would work on the left arm and legs. I'm not sure about that stuff on his right shoulder...
I would redo the shadows completely, remove the one of the guy and add to the gavestones so they're in sync with the moon, which is definitely not the case now.
I would redo the crosses as well, make them bigger, make more, and distribute them more evenly.
Of course, that's easy for me to say when I won't do.

Ha ah, nice idea. You know I'm mad about clouds, and because I could never draw them properly I want you to work a little about that ^^" (oooh long sentence means a lot of mistakes, hope it's readable).

This is just amazing to look at! The contrast is so striking, and from the thumbnail, it's just amazing to see.

I adore the metallic effect you have on that scythe (I need to copy that look) and the clouds, smoke, and moon ARE AMAZING! I wish I had that kind of impressionistic effect with my work.

The only critique I could have is that maybe you should orient the cast shadows to the moon, and make the ears bigger on her, lol... (yeah, stupid thing to say) :P

For being a quick gift, I couldn't have asked for more... and I owe you so much art now... STOP SMOTHERING ME!! XD
