A little messenger

Look what I've found when in searching for some scans of a current school project of mine! My HD is a messy and unorganized place, meh.

It was a birthday gift for my dear
...damn, it's old. But I still like it...too bad that I don't have enough time to practice some watercolors, I really like this technique.
Though it's old I'm setting the "encourage advanced critique" option- I haven't improved at all since that drawing.

And the winged turtle reminds me of those silly little ones from the old Mario games, though I didn't have them in mind when drawing that
